The elder races are the races that reached their zenith and began to decline before the rise of man. Fighting wars and carving out kingdoms while the gods roamed the world. Each of the elder races were once powerful and have since gone into decline. While they are in decline none of the elder races have departed and each is still a power to be reckoned within their realms and sometimes without.
